Simon Cowell
Simon Phillip Cowell was born on October 7, 1959 in Brighton, England. Simon’s father, Eric Philip Cowell, was an real-estate developer and music industry executive, and his mother, Julie Brett, is a former ballet dancer. Cowell has a younger brother named Nicholas Cowell and two half-brothers Tony Cowell, and Michael Cowell.
Cowell attended Dover College, but he did not complete his education. His father who was executive at EMI Music Publishing, helped get Simon a job in the mail room. From there Simon worked his way up in the music world and went on to form his own television production and music publishing company called SYCO.
Simon Cowell is best known as a judge. Cowell has been a judge on Pop Idol, The X Factor and Britain’s Got Talent. However, he is best known as being a judge on American Idol. His harsh and blunt comments to contestants on American Idol can often make it difficult for him to speak over the booing crowds. Even the other judges (Paula Abdul, Randy Jackson and Kara DioGuardi) often cut him short. Simon Cowell can be admired for his honesty towards contestants. Afterall, only one person can win American Idol each year. Simon appears to be the only judge who would tell you who he think should win.
Simon has also helped created and produce “American Inventor” and “America’s Got Talent”.
Personal life:
Simon has been romantically linked with Terri Seymour. Cowell has also admitted to using Botox.
Simon lives in Los Angeles and the UK.
