Ryan Seacrest
Ryan John Seacrest was born on Christmas Eve in 1974 in Dunwoody, Georgia. His mother ‘Constance Marie née Zullinger’, was a homemaker, and his father Gary Lee Seacrest was an attorney. Ryan has a younger sister named Meredith.
At a very young age, Ryan wanted to be a DJ. He idolized radio personalities like Casey Kasem and Dick Clark. During High School (Dunwoody High School) Seacrest hosted the morning announcement, he was a writer for the school paper, a member of the model UN club and captain of the Dunwoody High School Swim Team. He graduated in 1993.
Ryan Seacrest attended the University of Georgia for a short period where he hosted his first radio show. Ryan left University and moved to Hollywood to persue his broadcasting career.
Ryan has been and is involved in many entertainment, but truly gained fame when he became the host of American Idol on the FOX network. Seacrest is also a co-host of the entertainment-news show E! News. He is also the co-host of the annual Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve on ABC.
Even though Ryan Seacrest has had such success with television he still has a love of radio. Ryan hosts several radio shows: “On Air with Ryan Seacrest” on KIIS-FM in Los Angeles and “American Top 40″.
Ryan has been given a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for his work in radio.
